Campaign "Kurz vor Film"

Short films as supporting films for cinemas
On behalf of the AG Kurzfilm, the KFA and interfilm Berlin, a national campaign with the slogan “Kurz Vor Film – Mehr Vorfilme ins Kino!” (a clever pun on the German word for short film: Kurzfilm) was initiated with FFA funds in 2010, calling for more short films to be screened as supporting films. It is aimed at cinema operators and strives to motivate them to show short films in their cinemas. The Federal Film Funding Law of 2009 expressly supports the use of short films: Cinemas which regularly run short films as supporting films, are entitled to receive annual funding for such screenings. The KFA supports interested cinemas in all matters concerning application formalities.
