We are awarded with the Federal Film Distributor Prize and receive 60,000 DM.

Shorts from Hamburg

In the competition Fresh Hamburg Shorts – a competition for short films from Hamburg first introduced in 1995 – the short film “Neulich am Deich” (“Recently at the dike”) by Janek Rieke is declared the winner. But stop! How could that have happened? The voting cards from the 3001-Cinema were overlooked. The winner was therefore „Sensin – Du bist es!“ („Sensin – You are the one!“) by Fatih Akin. In the end the prize was shared.
