Short films in school

The ShortFilmClasses (KFS) are launched with the help of the Hamburg Department for Culture. We hire freelance filmmakers for workshops at schools. The students experiment with films and filmmaking, they discover how a movie actually works. The KFS serves as an interface between the artists and the schools. Since 2005, the KFS has been implementing 10-12 workshops annually with Hamburg students of all school types and age groups.

Investment makes innovation makes prize

We invest part of our prize money from the second Distributor Prize (2004) in our online distribution data base. In this way, clients of our Short Film Distribution Office (KurzFilmVerleih) are now able to browse, view and book online. For this tool, we receive the Innovation Prize of the Commisioner for Culture and Media.
